  1. World Renowned Restaurant Critic? Me? Why thanks. I just know what I like and I like a good burger. Jenne and I have eaten at our local Red Robin several times and we have found the service to be a mixed bag of good and poor. It’s run about 60/40%. I don’t think it’s limited to RR. We have noticed a sharp decline in the quality of service at all chain restaurants. They just can’t get (nor keep) good servers or enough servers. Most all of the places are understaffed and service suffers. No one really wants to work at restaurants, although everyone likes to eat at them.
    COMMENT:
    Unfortunately the quality of service is sharply declining everywhere and in everything. This is especially troubling as I always here that it is OK if we lose those millions of high tech or manufacturing jobs because America is becoming a service economy…
