If every Miata on Earth were to suddenly go away I would have one of these.	It’s not an off-road vehicle and its not a Porsche, but it says it on the sides.	in 1965 this was a sports car, now it is just a Sunday touring automobile.

This is the car that I would have bought instead of a Miata back then if ASCO paid me what I thought I was worth.	It’s big, it’s black, it’s supercharged and it is ostentatious. All reasons I shouldn’t want this, but somehow I do.	I was so pleasantly surprised by last weeks V-8 swapped 3-Series wagon, this week I’ll take its big brother similarly modified.

Hand-built in Georgia of aluminum & carbon fiber with a 5-litre V-8.	This one is sort of hand-built as well, it started as a regular enclosed SUV.	A British midsize car that is already left-hand drive from the factory.
