Tonight was the Master’s Miata Club meeting. It was unusually warm for a November evening and we had the top down and comfortable is just T-shirts. We were inside Vinny’s Pizzeria for about an hour and a half and when we came back out, condensation had formed all over the interior of the car. Fortunately I keep some paper towels in the trunk, so we could dry off the seats before plopping back down in them.
I can’t prove it, but I think Donna feels threatened by Alexandra Steele. She is an On-Camera Meterologist at he Weather Channel and seems relatively new. I think she is on mostly weekends, but has occasionally showed up in the mornings. Whenever Alexandra Steele comes on Donna picks that time to change the channel. I know it might be coincidence, but my Man’s Intuition tells me otherwise.
While Alexandra is an attractive woman, Donna has nothing to fear from her. Now, Kristina Abernathy or Sharon Resultan, that’s a different story.
This may be the rant I’ve had fluttering around inside my head for the last few days. I could have sworn I used it before, but a search of my site reveals nothing like it. I may have actually verbally ranted to someone and that is why it seems familiar.
I don’t need a TV to eat my meal. Really. I must be in the minority though, as it seems like every restaurant I have eaten in, in the last month has had multiple boob tubes hanging all around. Outback, Tony Roma’s and Krystal to name some chains. Vinny’s Pizzeria, Ferrando’s Italian Restaurant and Acropolis to name some local places. The only places I’ve been that didn’t have any were Burger King and Popeye’s. Can they be far behind?
I can understand good looking shallow people falling for this Reality TV chance at stardom/love/money ploy, but now they’ve gone too far, the corruption of “normal” looking people. God save the human race.
Just wasn’t into blogging last night and tonight is not much better.
4th listening of Dido’s new CD, it is definitely growing on me.

I haven’t scanned any new images in the last two nights. I have been busy cobbling together the November issue of The Driver. (The link is for last month’s, this month’s won’t be up until later this weekend, as I won’t mail them until tomorrow.)

Coincidentally there is a link on the bottom of the Postal Gallery page for another internet lost cause that I have contributed to No More AOL CDs. (The link is for nomreaolcdsnj.com, but wasn’t working when I clicked it.) I used to be on the Biggest Contributor list when I sent them 88 CD last year, but as you can see I’ve dropped of the radar screen. I’ve got about 10 more at work to send now….
For the first time in ages, I actually plunked down money on a CD. “Life for rent” by Dido. Loved every minute of her first CD and from what I had read review-wise this sounded like it would be better. After 2 listens, I’m not sure.
Is there a limit to the amount of man with completely bald heads in a population group? say 1 per 300. I mean the kind that are going bald in spots and decide to shave the whole dome.
Willie, for the longest time, was the one individual that had a shaved head at work. About two months ago Sherman decided to go the smooth pate way. Willie is African-American and Sherman is Caucasian, Willie is 30 and Sherman is 60, Willie works in die casting and Sherman works in shipping (which are on opposite sides of the plant) so they probably have little contact with each other, but with in a week Willie started to let his hair grow on the top and for good measure he started a beard. About a month ago, Andrew white, 40’s, engineer shaved it all off. He never kept it up and let his ring of hair return.
