My one and only registered domain is for the Barndoor Fan Club. It started as a lark on Geocities. After a while there I decided to go ahead and register the domain using Yahoo Domains. Then later I graduated it to a different web host because I kept bumping into Geocities bandwidth allowance for free sites. The domain expires on February 15, 2003, so I figured I would renew through my current web host and keep it all in the family. I contacted them on January 15th and authorized them to transfer and register the name for 2 years for me. 3 days later, my charge card was billed. A week later I did a whois and it still listed Yahoo domains as the tech contact and the expiration date was only 2004. A couple of emails later it is still the same. I guess tomorrow I will have to call on the phone…
