Today was another trip to Sandy, OR to go to Once Upon A Tome to buy a book because I have an upcoming haircut. It is on the calendar for Sunday, but I think I’ll go get it cut tomorrow. This is my third trip over, the first was solo, but the last one, and today, I was accompanied by a friend from the community. The plan, like the last time, was to hit the Sandbar BBQ before book shopping. When we pulled in the parking lot was empty and the lights weren’t on.
Checked Google Maps to find out if they weren’t open on Wednesdays. They are open on Wednesdays, just not until 4:00pm. I guess now that “summer” is over, they are changing Monday and Wednesday to no lunch service. We ended up at Sandy Family Restaurant & Ria’s Bar. I ordered a patty melt, while Trish had the BBQ sandwich, both were okay, but not to the Sandbar’s caliber.
