Well, I busted another tooth. Back in August of 2024 I bit into some kielbasa, hit bone, and took a chunk out of #7. Today a bit of #10 broke off on an almond. The two teeth in between those two, the central incisors, are already crowns from way back in teenage times, so those suckers aren’t breaking.
Friday I’ll see the dentist and get the crown process on that one. This time I’m asking for the crown to be done at an outside lab, even if it costs more. This is based on my luck with getting #7 finally settled with the 3D-printed one in their office. It has come off about 5 times and been reglued back on, and if it comes off again, outsourcing the crown will be what happens. Apparently the glue used on the office-made crowns isn’t as aggressive as what they can use on the ceramic or porcelain ones.
