Last night’s rooting for the Baltimore Orioles didn’t work out so well, they still lost to the Damn Yankees, which placed the Red Sox a full game behind in the East. I’m hoping the O’s don’t get my wishes for a win a day late, because they are playing the FRS right now.

Hey, browsed the archives and saw the picture of your tandem. Terrific price on such a nice bike. I have a Cannondale and was thinking just last night about planning a trip next year. Like you said, tandems have their personalities but are a lot of fun. Can’t think of another bicycle where I’ve gone 50mph downhill only to meet a hill that takes me to 5mph nearly immediately. Anyway, enjoy it and thanks for posting a picture. Let us know how the softride beam works out.
I set the bike up yesterday to make the fit the same as our road bikes, but had to set the stoker seat a couple inches higher to compensate for the flex of the beam with her seated on it…
